Nokia Ovi Suite is a PC connectivity software package for Windows that is considered the successor of Nokia PC Suite and the precursor of the Nokia Suite that has been in use for most Nokia smartphones since late 2011. Nokia Ovi Suite was an ambitious upgrade to Nokia PC Suite that ran in tandem to the web-based Ovi service. In the Finnish language, the word Ovi means "door."

Unlike the previous Nokia PC Suite, a fair amount of marketing was behind the Ovi Internet services and its five main offerings: Games, Apps, Media, Music, and Maps. The Ovi service slowly developed since it was first announced in 2007, and by 2008 the Nokia Ovi Suite had a stable release candidate. The Nokia Ovi Suite 2.0 came out in 2009 and allowed users to do the following:

• Transfer files between their devices and desktop or laptop computers
• Share content with friends
• Upgrade the device's firmware and operating system
• Synchronize settings
• Connect to the Internet
• Operate an mp3 player
• Manage their Ovi services account

The Ovi Store and other services were a big draw for Nokia device owners, particularly those who owned the X and N Series devices that focus on delivering a rich music and messaging experience. The additional Ovi services like the cloud-based Mail and Calendar applications could be accessed through Nokia Ovi Suite, but those have been discontinued as of mid-2011.

Nokia Ovi Suite supports more than 100 different devices, most of which can still be connected to a Windows computer with the old Nokia PC Suite. The Ovi services are being discontinued and re-branded, and by the end of 2012 the new Nokia Suite will be the standard PC connectivity program for most devices that are not powered by the Windows Phone operating system under the company's new partnership with Microsoft.
